I ordered the burgundy color and they were as pictured - a lovely, deep burgundy color. The corduroy fabric is soft and a bit stretchy. If you are average height, you will probably find these to be the perfect length where you can wear them as is or roll them up if you wanted that kind of look. If you are tall, they might come up to your ankles, but they would still look great. Because the fabric is a bit stretchy, there is some give around the waist and hips. These are not for yardwork or outdoor heavy-duty tasks like canvas overalls; however, they are perfect for a comfy, fashionable and easy-going stylish look. Very pleased with this purchase!
