I decided to buy this test after a few months of trying unsuccessfully. It took me some time to really understand how the test works. I started doing the test on the 10th day of my cycle with the result "Low Fertility" instead of on the 7th as recommended (feel it is a bit of a waste, but it was my personal choice). Then did the test again on day 11th, which resulted "High Fertility". My assumption was, that it would take at least 2 high fertility days before I got peak (again, my personal choice), so I skipped day 12th. I took the test again on day 13th, and I got "Peak Fertility", we had sex on that day. And now I am pregnant. I realise that my Peak Fertility was sooner than I anticipated. Hence having this test can be useful to give you data. Having said that, keeping a positive mindset, and staying relaxed is also important to get pregnant. Good luck to all the women out there of doing their very best to become a mum. x

These definitely take the guessing out of when you’re most fertile, mine was somewhat time critical as I have been on treatment for 5 years and could not conceive whilst on it. This put me at 38 and trying for a family, I thought we might have left it too late but we were trying for 4 months, used these for the last two months and fell pregnant currently 8 weeks pregnant 🙂.

I started out super unsure but wanted to share my journey, to help others as can understand it can be an unsettling time. So, I have been pregnant before. We started trying and I was determined to keep it ‘stress free’, with the attitude ‘if it happens it happens’. This came from the stories I’d heard over the years of the stress it can place on couples etc, more so than stress itself, and can’t speak to the impacts of that. I feel like, lots of people get pregnant all the time, in all scenarios, so didn’t want to overthink it. I fell pregnant immediately! Which was a surprise! Sadly, at 11 weeks we had a miscarriage. It’s been 6 months since now, and whilst supporting my husband to make sure he was also in a good place to try again - I became obsessed with all things ovulation. I spent hours googling, reading reviews, reading studies and more and literally have never known so much about ovulation haha. I’m sure there are many in the same boat as me - keen to become pregnant, and after the miscarriage I wanted nothing more than to be in that place again. I had tracked my period for 2 years, and have always had a very consistent cycle (give or take a day or 2). But thought I’d try the clear blue ovulation sticks and try pin point the actual day etc. See whether it changed, or make sure I was ovulating since I read about it skipping etc. I’ve been doing this for 3 months. First month I got 1 ‘low’ followed by 10 ‘high’ days. I tested in the afternoon (after reading a study) and only tested once a day. Second month, same as above but tested twice a day. Third month, got 3 ‘low’ days followed by 2 ‘high’ and then tested again and got ‘peak’. This time I tested first thing each morning (roughly 7:30am) then tested again between 4-6 each day. So, whilst I was very disheartened the first 2 times (despite the steps being clear of HOW to collect a sample) there is still a lot of nuance to it. Such as, what time if day do I test? Does it have to be consistent? How many times a day? How much water is bad? Should I pee directly or use the cup? You question everything. That said, I tried a few things and got a peak in month 3. (Assuming I’d just missed it previously). - the first day is always ‘low’ because a baseline is being established - Once you get a ‘high’ outcome, test twice a day (morning and afternoon) so you don’t miss it. I reckon I missed it the first 2 months. - Diluted urine - I didn’t drink loads but became so conscious of this and hated it. Just don’t over think it, drink what you normally drink and I’m sure it’s fine. - I read a study that between 10 - 12 was the best time. I’m not sure it matters. I ended up doing first urine and then again in the late afternoon - sometimes did 3 So I hope this helps. I had many qs, but got there in the end. I am now 3 weeks pregnant! Goodluck

This is overall a good product to detect ovulation, but I find that it takes a few months of knowing the digital indicator to really get it right. The indicator needs time to get to know your body and hormone fluctuations verses your baseline. I find the first month a bit useless to be honest. But by the second or third, it works better. Also, I think it lasts 2-3 months. You don’t need to discard it and buy a new one constantly as they advise you to do. Remember the first day of testing is always going to come out with a circle- indicating that you are not fertile. Low fertility. But that happens no matter what on your first try because it’s trying to find your baseline. So if you are already high fertility and rest day 1 when you are highly fertile then the whole test gets confused and may not properly measure your cycle, because it thinks your baseline normal is when you are actually fevers fertile, hope that makes sense. Best bet is to get two different boxes and try them for a few months and compare the digital indicators. You will get the hang of it!

I know these are pricey but I can verify - they work! It really helped us with conceiving our daughter and I’m excited to be using them again for number two! Word to the wise - read the instructions first! They are too expensive to waste on trial and error!!
